First come up with a title that is descriptive of the experience your customer is about to participate in

With Product Recommendations, you need to consider the attributes of the product result. This Skincare Regime is going to be built up of three key features: expertise level, skincare goal and complexity of regime.
This means you need to have at least three questions which split your customers path every time they make a decision.
Write your first question and the answers to it
You'll need to create the next step before you do anything else, so add a question that would link to your first answer
You can see this question links to the "I'm a beginner" choice in question one, because it gives feedback to that answer by welcoming the customer.
Head back to step one and link the correct answer to the subsequent step
From this point onwards, if your customer has selected "Brand new", they are on the path that leads from that decision. No matter what they choose next, their result will be tailored towards a beginner.
Continue on creating in this way, writing each question and its answers, before going back a step and linking them correctly.
TIPS
- Not every step has to create a new path, you will find you end up with too many paths. You can include a "Narrative" step, which has only one answer, and this serves as a step that just adds to the story. You can also include dummy questions, which give the impression that they affect the outcome, but don't. If you include these, you can have a path that has seven steps, for example, but only three affect the outcome.
- If you forget to associate an answer to a step or result, when your customer interacts with it, it will automatically link to the next question in the Journey which may not be accurate.
- Plan your Journey with paper and pen or use one of our templates to begin with, that way you can be sure that every path makes sense.
